Chitrashala

Chitrashala is a pioneer institute for training the different styles of paintings of Rajasthan and especially committed to Phad painting. Chitrashala conducts trainings and undertakes research for sustaining the phad form of painting. The organisation has experimented with various styles, media and approaches so as to contribute new dimensions to it.

More than 2000 students and many research scholars have been trained or involved with this institute. Chitrashala has produced some very renowned artists and after 50 years of its foundation, is a recognised Centre for safeguarding the art of Phad Painting.
