Vylopilli Samskriti Bhavan, the Multi Purpose Cultural Complex (MPCC), is an institution of the Government of Kerala, Department of Culture. Its aim is to function as a research, documentation, performance and preservation centre for the cultural traditions and art forms of Kerala. It is a UNESCO approved centre for the preservation of cultural heritage.
Named after Kerala's beloved poet Vylopilli Sreedhara Menon, it also has a memorial dedicated to him with artifacts he used during his lifetime preserved in it.
To achieve its objectives, the institution has set up various facilities like open air and traditional auditoria, conference hall, arena for dance performances and library. Its activities include workshops, camps, concerts, dance/drama/other arts performances, poetry recitations and numerous other programmes.
