Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum
The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museumis located within the City Palace complex, Jaipur and houses a diverse collection of paintings, photographs, artefacts, and arms and armour. The museum was instituted by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II in 1959 and spreads across various sections of the palace complex. The display includes textiles and costumes, arms and weapons, painting and decorative arts in separate galleries.
The Museum hold occasional exhibitions, publishes catalogues, monographs, portfolios and arranges occasional lectures.
